Revealing India's Laser like beam weapon The KALI 5000 | Anti - Missile and Anti - Aircraft weapon

Indian secret weapon unveiled The KALI 5000

The KALI 5000 is laser like beam weapon not a laser weapon , it produces and shoots mass amount of electrons which destroys electronic circuits of enemy missile or aircraft and bring them down. KALI stands for Kilo Ampere Linear Injector being developed by BARC and DRDO.

Introduction

KALI is laser like beam weapon not laser weapon

Kali stands for Kilo Ampere Linear Injector

KALI is soft killing weapon

Unlike laser It doesnt make holes but destroys enemys electric circuit and computer chip

Project & Design

The KALI project was inititated by Dr. R. Chidambaram in 1985

In 1989 work on The KALI project began

KALI is being developed by Accelerators & Pulse Power Division of the Bhaba Atomic Research Centre  BARC

Project was initiated for development of industrial applications but later it was also came to be known it will also be used defence purpose

Development

Although project may started in 1985 but actual development had began in 1989

Initially work began by Bhaba Atomic Research Centre  BARC but later Defence Research Development Organisation DRDO also got involved in this project The Kali

It is was expected to be ready by 2004, but later it had pass through many test and many other version than 5000 are produced and tested

Specification

The KALI is very bulky machine it wieghts about 10 tonnes

It consumes high amount of energy to produce electrons

KALI require cooling tank of 12,000 liters of oil

KALI Versions

The first accelerators had a power of ~0.4GW, which increased as later versions were developed

later version like KALI 80, KALI 200, KALI 1000, KALI 5000 and KALI 10000 were produced

How KALI  works

The KALI emits powerful pulses of electrons (Relativistic Electron Beams- REB)

electron pulses are about 100 ns with an energy of about 1 MeV, current 40 kA and a power of 40 GW

These electrons are coverted into EM Radiation, which can be adjusted to x-ray (as Flash X-Rays) or microwave (High Power Microwave) frequencies

With this microwaves KALI will be used as High Power Microwave gun in future

KALI uses and main features

KALI a High Power Microwave gun produces mass amount microwaves

When these burst of 1000  million gigawatts microwaves aimed at any enemy missile or aircraft

It destroys its electronic  circuits and computer chip of missile or aircraft

This completely paralyses computer system and bring them down

KALI is also used to design electrostatic shields

These electrostatic shields will be used to protect electronic circuits against  Electromagnetic Impulses (EMI) generated by nuclear weapons and other cosmic disturbances

These electrostatic shields will used for protecting LCA Tejas

Satellites also will be using these electrostatic shields

In future KALI will be weaponised in  Il-76 aircraft

KALI weapon will also be used to destroy enemy satellites
